BRIEF –
The conceptual system for Argos, Leica’s imaging and photogrammetry technology app, aimed at creating a functional product that allowed users to accomplish tasks with less than or equal to three interactions.
CHALLENGES –
The physical environment, constraints and limitations of the users needed to be and were considered throughout the design process.
STRATEGY –
The approach revolved around making the app contextual and specific to the target users in every way possible. Hours were spent at construction sites shadowing the users to understand their day to day operations and specifics of their operations. The workflows and interactions in the application were designed to be laser focussed on the functionalities that were required off of it at those points in time. The user interface specifically were designed for the physical environment it was going to be used in.
IMPACT –
The app’s interface fostered quick decision making, actions and confirmation.
